I am incredibly excited and honored to serve as Eminent Archon for the Connecticut Omega chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon at Yale University for the Fall 2012 semester. Our chapter is currently comprised of 76 men who collectively strive to reflect our fraternity’s creed, The True Gentleman, in their daily lives. Outside of SAE, we pride ourselves on a wide range of academic endeavors, participation in various varsity and club sports, and involvement in a variety of other causes and organizations. As brothers of SAE, we pride ourselves on the strong friendships that we share and our close-knit brotherhood.

This is a very exciting time for SAE at Yale. In the past two years alone, we have welcomed 58 new brothers into our fraternity. While it is nice to watch the fraternity grow in size, most enjoyable has been the way in which commitment to the brotherhood has increased significantly with the addition of each new pledge class. As recently as a few years ago, it was difficult to find just eight brothers to fill the bedrooms in our house at 35 High Street. Next year’s situation is much different, when eleven brothers will call the house their home thanks to a $50,000 dollar renovation being done this summer to open up new bedrooms on the fourth floor. This is only one of many testaments to the positive direction in which our fraternity is heading, and I am excited to watch it continue to grow and improve as Eminent Archon in the fall.

We hope this website will serve as a valuable resource for parents, alumni, and anyone else hoping to get a glimpse into our lives as brothers of SAE at Yale. As vital as our brotherhood’s commitment is to our fraternity’s continued success, we also rely heavily on the support of parents, relatives, and alumni brothers. I am proud to serve as Eminent Archon for the Fall 2012 semester, but I am even more proud to call the 75 other fine young men in SAE my brothers. I look forward to working with them in the fall to continue to improve our chapter, while also maintaining our involvement in the Yale Community.
